British Journal of Renal Medicine

Launched in 1995, the British Journal of Renal Medicine has firmly established itself as the review-based journal for the renal community, and its multidisciplinary content ensures continued relevance to all members of the team.

The British Journal of Renal Medicine is published quarterly. It provides a blend of articles and editorial that is of interest and benefit to all specialties involved in the provision of renal care. Each issue of the journal also includes a patient information section with the title ‘What I tell my patients about …’ which has been adopted by many renal units in the UK.

The Editorial Board welcomes submissions that describe original research, present clinical observations accompanied by analysis and discussion, provide critical reviews of clinical, ethical, social or economic aspects of nephrology, or describe and discuss case reports.

Authors are required to meet the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals as set out by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. Click here for specific information relating to conflict of interest, informed consent and human and animal rights.
